This year I had the opportunity to photograph a wedding very close to New Years at one of my favourite venues, which was exciting for me. Usually around this time my season is over, so this nighttime winter wedding had me swooning! Lots of glitter and candles, what more could a girl ask for? This was by far one of the coldest days of the year, with the temperature dipping to a frigid -40 degrees celsius. That didn’t stop us from sneaking outside for a bit to capture some super cozy photos. This wedding was an incredible way to end my 2017 and I can’t wait for what 2018 has in store for me. Here are some faves from that beautiful day!
In September I had the opportunity to photograph Amey & Chad’s wedding. It was a very intimate ceremony at tunnel mountain, surrounded by family and close friends right at sunset. Aside from some absolutely dreamy lighting as the sun was setting, Amey’s vintage style dress was simply stunning! These two were so easy going and I had so much fun capturing their wedding. Here are some of my favourites from their day.
A couple months ago when I first met my second shooter, Beth, we ventured out to Kananaskis for a fun session. I’m super glad we did because Danielle & Chris were cool enough to adventure out with me and try to find all the spots Beth and I stumbled upon. I can’t wait for their wedding next year!
I had an amazing opportunity to photograph two of my dear friends this summer. Cat and Cam travelled to Drumheller with me for their session for a change of scenery from the mountains and it was definitely worth it. The landscape is incredible, not to mention how in love these two are.on
