Shannon and Paul’s love for collecting antiques and all things vintage was the inspiration behind one of my favourite weddings in 2014. The entire wedding was 1920’s themed from the decor to the all guest’s attire. The day started off at Shannon’s house where she and the girls were getting ready in the master bedroom, and Paul was down in the basement with his groomsmen. After photographing some getting ready photos we were off to Georgina Pioneer village for the ceremony. The village is full of character which made for a beautiful background for all the photos. The staff were kind enough to let us into some of the buildings for photos which led to some lovely moments with Shannon and Paul. The reception was held at Pollard’s Auction barn, known for their antique auctions in Sutton, Ontario. There was gorgeous antique furniture at the reception along with antique tea pots adorned with pearls and white roses as the table centre pieces, boas for guests to add to their wardrobe and plenty of candy for anyone’s sweet tooth. Shannon and Paul threw a party Gatsby himself would be jealous of! Congratulations you two and all the best!
